Toshiba New Windows 8 Laptop

It's October, and that means one thing in particular: Windows 8 has arrived. Or, it will soon. And Microsoft's OEM partners are ushering in all sorts of new machinery to celebrate the occasion. Toshiba is the latest company to announce that its Windows 8 machines are now up for pre-sale, with new Satellite laptops, Ultrabooks and all-in-one PCs on the docket. Toshiba's new laptops feature spacious touchpads with Windows 8 gesture support to allow users to perform gestures on the touchpad as they would on a touchscreen device. In addition, to help transition consumers to the innovative interface in Windows 8, Toshiba's new PCs come pre-installed with Toshiba Desktop Assist, a utility designed to give users easy access to their programs, control panel, as well as files and folders, similar to the Start Menu in previous versions of Windows.

The PCs include three new Windows apps – Toshiba Central, Toshiba Book Place and Toshiba News Place – redeveloped as tiles for the new Start Screen. Toshiba Central provides easy access to the user guide, support information, how-to videos and more. Toshiba Book Place is an e-book reader and marketplace with access to millions of titles. Specifics on the new line is below, with each new machine shipping on October 26th alongside the shiny new OS.

A Laptop for You as Student

A college student of looking for a new laptop at some point before the summer break.You are going to travel this summer with this laptop, and you would like to take it to University as your only computer in the next year. In fact, You are for the following search in the order of the most important to the least significant, but all very important. These criteria have led to you come up with nothing. The Toshiba has attracted your attention and is a serious candidate, but you would want some more power.You wish your laptop able his game (battlefield 3 Mediumish settings native res, SCII native res), but you want a 13-14-inc you would like to able, they use in the dark, etc.
